Dr. Maitra saved my life. She doesn't just sit with you for 15 minutes and send you on your way. She cares, she listens and she prescribes accordingly. Her staff was always responsive and caring. When I moved out of state she even helped me get set up with a new psychiatrist. I'm eternally grateful for Dr. Maitra and her staff.
Dr. Maitra is a rare type of doctor. She takes extra time with each of her patients. Although this sometimes means waiting a bit more for your appointment, it ensures adequate time is given to address your issues. Dr. Maitra along with her staff are very friendly and accommodating. They provide snacks and water for while waiting in the lobby. The overall atmosphere in her clinic is that of a "mom and pop shop". The staff are respectful and yet very personable. I cannot recommend her services enough.
I highly recommend this psychiatric service to anyone looking for an educated MD who actually cares about her clients and makes sure they are taken care of. Dr Maitra is truly one of a kind and my family is very thankful that we found her after wasting thousands of dollars with other psychiatric firms who only take your money and don’t actually care about their patients. I searched high and low throughout the bay area and Lumos and Dr Maitra are by far the best service I have found. You will not be disappointed if you are generally looking for help and a Doctor who actually cares about your health and wellbeing! The staff here are also extremely responsive and helpful and will never leave you out in the cold in a time of need. So glad I found Lumos and Dr Maitra!
Dr Maitra is a genuine docter I have seenUntil now. She is giving me treatment forDepression. She is so Flexible and had been there for me every time I had a problem. She gives good medicine for depression. She is an amazing docter.
I found Dr Maitra and her wonderful staff during the pandemic. She was one of the very few doctors who responded to my many emails. Dr. Maitra is one of a kind! She is compassionate, genuinely cares about her patients, and willing to meet them where they are to help them get well.
I love Lumos. Not only is Dr. Maitra a caring, warm, smart and experienced Psychiatrist, her staff is also caring and efficient. Can't ask for a better team.
