Why this research matters
OCD studies at Lumos enroll adults whose intrusive thoughts and rituals persist despite treatment, and those never formally diagnosed. Screening uses structured, validated assessments, which matters, because OCD is commonly mistaken for anxiety or perfectionism and undertreated for years.
Is this you?
A study may be worth a conversation if some of this sounds familiar:
Screening is free, confidential and decides nothing by itself. It simply tells you whether a current study fits.

Common questions
Clinicians who work with OCD have heard every theme, harm, contamination, symmetry, taboo thoughts, and treat them as symptoms, not character. You share at the level you're able; validated scales do much of the work.
Frequently yes, and some studies specifically evaluate medication alongside therapy. The team confirms per protocol.
That's often already been tried, and its limits are why these studies exist. Current research investigates different mechanisms entirely, under close supervision.
