Accessibility at Lumos
Care should be reachable, and so should the website that leads to it. This site was built accessible from the ground up, not patched with an overlay.
What this site does for you
- Works with screen readers: real headings, landmarks, labels and alt text on every page.
- Full keyboard navigation: every control is reachable and shows a visible focus ring.
- Respects your motion settings: if your device asks for reduced motion, animations and autoplaying films stop. Films are silent and decorative; nothing essential lives only in video.
- Readable by design: color contrast checked against WCAG on every theme, three color themes to choose from (top of every page), and a larger-text toggle in the footer.
- Verified, not assumed: every page type scores 100 on Lighthouse’s accessibility audit, and we re-check with every change.
Our standard
We build to WCAG 2.1 AA. Accessibility is never “done”, content changes, and so do the tools people browse with, so we treat it as part of every release rather than a one-time audit.
