Two sponsor programs contributed the enrollment figure.
Run inside our major depressive disorder programs, so these trials also sit within the MDD count.
Also counted within the other CNS group in the chart below.
Covers anxiety disorders including social anxiety. The enrollment figure is from two social anxiety programs.
One sponsor program.
Industry-sponsored trials with Dr. Maitra as principal investigator since 2020, Phase II and Phase III. Full protocol list, per-study phases and enrollment detail on request under CDA.
Three things a feasibility form can’t show you
The registry is our own practice
Lumos Psychiatric Services shares the building, the team and the record. Eligible patients are found in routine care and pre-screened by a physician, not recruited by advertising.
Every coordinator is a physician
All eight CRCs, the Site Director and the Study Director are internationally trained MDs. Protocol judgement, adverse-event recognition and source quality come with the job.
Comorbidity handled in-house
Psychiatric and metabolic assessments run on site, so eligibility decisions hold and retention stays high on CNS and cardiometabolic protocols alike.
Every recent program enrolled above target
Six sponsor programs, 72 participants expected under contract, 288 enrolled. Over-enrollment is the pattern, not a one-off. Sponsor names on request.
Obesity1 sponsor program
Social anxiety disorder2 sponsor programs
Major depressive disorder2 sponsor programs
Schizophrenia1 sponsor program
Expected is the enrollment written into each contract; where two sponsors ran the same indication their programs are combined. Enrolled is what the site delivered.
Industry-sponsored, 2020 to date; protocol list on request.
Screening starts from identified patients in our own practice, not cold advertising.
Participants new to clinical trials, which reduces professional-subject risk and supports cleaner data.
Representative enrollment that supports sponsor diversity goals, with bilingual English and Spanish staff on site.

Sarbani Maitra, MD
Medical Director and co-founder of Lumos Clinical Research Center, principal investigator on 46 industry-sponsored trials since 2020 across depression, anxiety, OCD, schizophrenia, panic and pediatric psychiatry. Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology; psychiatry residency and chief-resident roles at Meharry Medical College; M.D., American University of the Caribbean.

One site, purpose-built for long visit days
Approximately 8,500 sq ft on one floor: assessment, dosing, inpatient observation, lab and monitoring under one roof, free parking at the door, and a 24/7 emergency department across the street.
See the rooms your study would run in
A 3D walk-through of the real suite: reception, screening, dosing and monitoring spaces, exactly as your monitor will find them.

How we run
Start-up in about two weeks
Single-site decision making, in-house regulatory and budget review, central IRB. No build-out required to begin.
Physician-trained coordinators
Every coordinator, the Site Director and the Study Director are internationally trained physicians. GCP certification current.
In-house screening
Metabolic and psychiatric assessments run on site, removing ineligible candidates early and protecting eligibility decisions.
