Dr. Sarbani Maitra is a distinguished psychiatrist with extensive experience in clinical care and medical research. She communicates clearly, she trusts you, and it's easy for you to trust her. She's open to explaining the purpose and the mechanism of action of every medicine she prescribes. She's aware of a wide range of evidence-based approaches, keeps up with newest fancy meds and other advancements. Psychiatry is quite different from other areas of medicine, and I think Lumos is handling all that nuance exactly right.

They even conduct their own research here at Lumos! I've joined one of those groups myself, to help them figure out if an experimental med was useful for folks like me. It was a beautiful experience.
